PowerGrid: Brian, Beth, Dana, Collin, Pete - Winner Brian
Marathon session lasting until midnight! Well, it's been a while, and we had a slow start as Dana's BSW freaked, and sailing stragglers got in.
Off to Powergrid! It's a thinking person's game, as is. You need to calculate out your expenses. Buy your plants, buy your pipes, buy your resources. Spend Spend! Think Think Think!
Pete pinned Dana in the corner at the end of phase 1, but it only allowed him to save cash for nice plant builds in a later turn.
Brian got the machine rolling, and was looking great coming into endgame.
Pete made a brilliant move, and bought two oil, when he needed three, leaving most of his plants watching the windmills go round and round. What a putz. That's what he gets for playing the uke between turns.
Game ends at Brian pulling off a pretty commanding win. Dana was very close on his heels, however.
